More pictures!

Here's our little Lucas, holding his head up so well!!

The Haveman men, both big and small :)

James and his little bro. How sweet they are!

Friends!

Joash and James. These little guys are just a month apart and play so well together. Unfortunately Joash moved back up to Canada last week with his parents. His dad had just graduated from the seminary and will be working in Hamilton for the summer. So sad they had to go!

Boys and Thier Toys

Jerry finally brought his "baby" home! After 2 years of patiently waiting for the truck to sell or to be brought to Illinois, Jerry's dreams finally became reality... making way for more bigger and better dreams of what he can now do to the truck since he has it home. :)
Jerry saw this for sale outside of a consignment shop and we had to do a second drive by :). Because it was Sunday when we saw it, he told me "you have to go tomorrow to get that for James". So I did and James loves it! Jerry will start his boys of young in the off roading craze. :)

Lucas Abraham Haveman

Our Family Photo

Me and my boys. This is the first time James held Lucas... and he got a real kick out of it. But it started a need to hold him more. James loves to hug Lucas and hug him TIGHT! I'll have to keep an eye on this ;).

A close-up of the brothers.

Opa and Oma Hanemaayer came up the day after Lucas was born to help out. And to meet the baby, I'm sure :). It was wonderful to see them again and wonderful to have their help around the house. Best of all, they provided James with much needed distraction.

Oma and Lucas.

Opa, James and Lucas.

This was day number one, well, the 14th. James met his brother for the first time and wasn't quite sure what to make of everything.
Lucas was born on May 13, 2009 at 7:20 PM. We had just made it to the hospital at 6:20... so things went rather fast :). He weighed in at 8lbs 6ozs and was 21" long. He was a darling from the start! We love him so much and we praise the Lord for his safe arrival!
