Christmas Day, 2007

Christmas morning... Jerry put together this bouncer for our little man to try out. He's a little little for it yet, so I used the towel for extra support. He was content for about 15 minutes. It helped that Jerry was bouncing him up and down and swinging him around... kinda like an amusement park ride.
The remnants of our Christmas dinner. I decided we ought still to have a big ol' dinner, even though it was just our little family. Really, how can one pass up an excuse to eat turkey... and all those fabulous turkey leftovers!?!
The result of turkey dinner.
Little James in his long jons... aren't they darling?? He's bursting at the seams :).

More of our Boy

Lisa said we needed to post more pictures of little James... so heeeeeeere's Jimmy!!
Hanging out on the couch with his toys. Doesn't care too much about his toys... but he'll hang out with them like any nice boy would.

A Winter Wonderland

That's our house... 1415 Scott St. in Ottawa IL, 61350. (Now you can mapquest us to come and visit, or even just send us some good old fashioned mail!)
This is our backyard. You can see we got a decent amount of snow!!

Our Little Jimmy-Man...

Little James is learning at a young age about the best toys in life. They say their minds are sponges right now right? At this rate, James will know all there is to know about big trucks and mud. Just right for a little boy!

James is becoming more interactive with his toys. It helps that I hang them right in front of his face so he has no choice but to notice them! But I'd say he looks very happy!

Our Trip to Galena, Illinois

On our way to Galena, Illinois. For those of you who don't know, it is like Sun Valley in Idaho; and for those of you who don't know what that is, it is a big, fancy ski resort/Historic town on both accounts. Here Jerry is visualizing what it must be like to drive a new Smart Car. For those of you who don't know, it is 3 feet shorter than a Mini. -Jerry
Union General Grant's home in Galena. Most everything inside is original. Very neat to tour.
A view of Galena, of which 90% of the buildings are on the National historic register.

The Main Men in My Life

The love of my life is off working hard to bring in the bacon.
This is for Mrs. Susan... he fits! He grows by leaps and bounds and I still can't get him to smile. I guess I'll have to come up with some funnier jokes. Anybody got any ideas?
